for all you dave berry fan's out there, look what i found!

it's been a eventful week to be sure. i've gotten fairly comfortable in this part of the world that i inhabit. trying not to stress out about much. it's pretty tough. my classes continue to go well. i've gotten to know a few folks. I've been really surprising myself with how social and fairly confident i've become. this is exactly where i need to be! so much fun. too much to relate in one post.

i'm half thinking about becoming a college professor. Now as much as that sounds specific, it's really not. I have no idea what that means when i say that's "what i want to be". But it's something. Though quite faceless and even formless. but it came to me so strongly, i could not ignore it.

the rainer maria show was fantastic. ran into one of luke good's friends who lives right by UPitt there. the show really was so much fun though, perhaps because i hadn't been to one in so long or perhaps because they were really so energetic! they looked really happy to be there, even though the crowd wasn't completely sold on them. They encored with "tinfoil". I was pumped.

friday night i went down to the waterfront with a bunch of folks. We went to the "improv" and saw mitch hedberg. i was unreal. there is no other way to put it. there's no way i've laughed so much in my entire life. time was non-existant. who knew that comedians could actually be funny. not i, not i. i really had no idea what it was gong to be like, so needless to say i was pleasently surprised.
